was just reading a response to this by another overprivileged dem party hack (“wacky gori”) defending liberal imperialism, bombing civilians overseas, feeding the military industrial complex and imprisonment without due process with the usual bs argument that obama inherited everything but did not contribute or initiate. they all sound the same and love stripping away history and context, particularly of the longstanding benevolent savior narrative used to mask violent european/u.s. imperialism.  bush-era policies weren’t “dialed down”, they were expanded. repulsive and disturbing mindset.
